Meet the "L" Family


I think I forgot to state in the last blog that I'm creating a Bump to Baby series - I'm featuring families I've photographed both pregnancy and newborn sessions.

This family was a lot of fun to work with. Dad could easily make mom laugh. They shared big smiles, belly laughs, and so much love. You can really feel their connection in these maternity photos. This session was at Hampton Park at a time when the flowers were really putting on a show. We loved stopping in various spots to grab photos under the Spanish moss, in the wild flower garden, and along the paths of various flowers. Each spot brought out a different, beautiful side of their journey toward parenthood, making these photos especially meaningful.

Lifestyle Newborn Session


This couple moved shortly after their maternity session, right before their little one was due. They managed to move in, have this sweet boy, and then invite me in for their newborn session. Super parents is all I can think of when I recall all that they told me about their time spent between maternity and newborn sessions. As with the maternity session, this sweet mom was all smiles. She and her husband LOVE their little boy. I know, I say it all the time, but it's true all the time. You can see how much they love him, and each other, in how they look at one another. It's my favorite part of photography - seeing and feeling the emotions when looking at photographs. Nothing beats capturing these precious, fleeting moments in time,
